Posted in MotoX, Uncategorized on September 1st, 2010 by admin – Be the first to commentGo Pro Crossover Challenge returns to the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships at the Pala Raceway National, Friday Sept. 10, 2010.
As a track sponsor of Pala Raceway, No Fear eagerly accepted the opportunity to be a part of this ten-year tradition. The No Fear crew was in attendance when the Crossover Challenge kicked off this year at the first round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships, which were held at Hangtown. The event drew more than 60 athletes and industry riders and proved to be very entertaining.
This unique event provides an opportunity for some of the best athletes in action sports such as surf, skate, snow, mountain bike and BMX to compete outside of their element and try their hand at the challenging Pala Raceway, while being supported and entertained by the No Fear crew. The event will consist of activities including practice, a two moto race format, catered lunch, autograph signings and a dash for cash mini bike race sponsored by Haro Bikes where winner takes all.
“No Fear, since its inception, has been involved and associated with world class athletes so the GoPro Crossover was a great fit,” said Phil Tinstman, No Fear Sports Marketing Director. “We wish all the participating athletes good luck!”
The sponsors of the Go-Pro Crossover Challenge include No Fear, GoPro, SRH, Haro Bikes, Skullcandy, DC, Dunlop, Vention and Asterisk. For more event details including tickets, athletes, and more, please visit www.palaraceway.com.

Posted in MotoX on August 30th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to commentClinton Moore Update from Steve Sommerfeld
Posted in MotoX, Uncategorized on August 27th, 2010 by admin – Be the first to commentIn the past 5 weeks Clinton Moore has ridden in the biggest Freestyle MX competitions in the world and he is still standing after the immense pressure and schedules of travelling and competing with the biggest and best riders in the world.
Clinton’s world turned upside-down from practice at his home compound in Bundaberg to riding at the Red Bull X-Fighters wild card round in Madrid, to the X Games in Los Angeles and then riding at the Red Bull X-Fighters round in London, UK last weekend where he finished a respectable 8th position in the wet and windy conditions that only England could provide.
X Games 16 – 4th place and 40 million viewers
Clinton’s X Games pursuit was a troubled time with a bike that didn’t turn up and a lingering injury from over jumping in practice. But Clinton put it all behind him to place 4th in Best Trick with his body varial ‘The Volt’. Clinton was working to land it with a Seat Grab combination, although it was a little sketchy the judges gave him the nod for his consistency in landing the very hard trick.
“I can’t believe I just rode X Games and placed 4th place. It was my first time at X Games and I was just happy to be there” Clinton said.
Clinton received exposure through ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN online in the United States, Europe, Asia and Australasia and online streaming to the world. In a short amount of time Clinton has become the fresh face of Freestyle MX.
Red Bull X-Fighters – London, UK
With no signs of slowing down, Clinton was invited to the Red Bull X-Fighters round in London on August 14. The English round was one of the more complex of courses with varying ramp and dirt options with transfer lines and double-double sections. Moore had all riders on notice when he performed a Volt body varial in a rhythm section as well as flat 360’s to position in 8th by qualifying in the wet conditions. Clinton was playing it easy in qualifier’s due to the wet weather, but when the main event was cancelled the points reverted back to qualifying results. It was still a great result considering some of the best and experienced riders were relegated to the bottom of the ladder.
FMX World have released a profile of Clinton Moore from the London round of X-Fighters which you can view here: http://www.fmxworld.com/video/red-bull-xfighters-london-7

Meet Cami, Our latest Hot Chick!
Name 3 things you couldn’t live without? why?
My fam/friends, Dip N Dots, and chapstick! I could never live without my fam/friends cus their there through thick n thin. As for chapstick, some where along the line I literally got addicted to the darn stuff and can never be without it.
If you could change something about yourself, what would it be & why?
Hmm, well if this was asked a few yrs ago I would have said that I’d want to gain more confidence in myself. But I’ve grown so much since then and from doing promotional modeling since then I’ve gained that and so much more in a good way. I’ve learned the more you put yourself out there and just bite the bullet when scared the more you overcome your fears.
The person you would never want to meet?
Obama….
What animal best represents you? why?
I’ve been told a black widow although that’s not an animal lol. I think I’m more like a horse though. Loyal, wants to run free and be loved.
What last made you laugh?
Oh gosh, I only surround myself with people that make me laugh constantly so remembering a last time is not easy. !
Spontaneity or stability?
A lil of both!
What’s the dumbest purchase you ever made?
None really! I’m usually a pretty thrifty shopper. Although I’ve probably have boyfriends that would disagree with that!
Ever felt that no one relates to you?
Of course! But then I realize everyone feels that way at some point so it can’t be the end of the world right?
Have any nick names? If so, what?
Camilynn, Camiflouge, Chameleon, Cam, Camilita, Camitoe and Cam Dog.

Exclusive with Tommy Weeck from RacerX Online
Posted in Uncategorized on August 13th, 2010 by admin – 3 CommentsTommy Weeck has had a rough season so far. He has missed most of Supercross, then came back at the end of the Nationals, but for the most part, his name hasn’t been featured in the results much this year. Now, he’s back, and he was the top privateer at Washougal with 15-14 scores for 13th overall. We caught up with him while he was driving to Unadilla.
Racer X: Tell the readers a little about yourself.
Tommy Weeck: My name is Tommy Weeck. I’m originally from Redmond, Washington. I moved from there when I was 14 to the great state of California to be closer to the heart of motocross! I was a KTM amateur racer pretty much all through my amateur career until recently, due to the poor economy. Now, I’m doing a privateer deal on Hondas, trying to pursue my dream of being a contender in the motocross world.
So how is your program now? Do you get support in any way?
My program now is basically just being surrounded by good-hearted people! [Laughs] I’m getting a ton of help from Mitch Payton at Pro Circuit, Von Zipper, No Fear, TCX boots, Shoei helmets, and Escondido Cycle center is helping me out with what they can. The tough economy does not help a true privateer racer much.
How do you get to the races?
My parents have a motor home and a trailer that we took to the amateur races and is fully set up as a racing rig. They are now letting me use it for the last five outdoors. I can’t thank my parents enough, because without them I would not be able to get to the races this year.
How do you feel about Unadilla?
I’m stoked for Unadilla. I got to race at this place last year and the track really suits my style; rough, gnarly, rocky and hopefully hot and humid. It’s a really rugged track and I believe my fitness will benefit me huge.
Tell us about your training program and what you do during the week.
Well, I worked with Ryan Hughes for over three years off and on now. I follow his program 100 percent. I believe in what he teaches completely, from the diet to the riding techniques to training in the gym. The guy’s teaching ability is incredible. I can’t tell you what we do; I can just say it’s a lot of circuit-style training!
Do you have a mechanic?
Yeah! I have a longtime friend, Josh Bartnik, doing my wrenching for me. He is actually living with me in the motor home while we’re back east to do the last few outdoor races. I can’t thank Josh enough for jumping on board with me so last-minute and just being ready to help in whatever way he can. He has been a huge part of making this program come together.
So, what’s the plan for the rest of the year?
My plan is to finish off the next four rounds and try to be consistently in the top ten. I want to prove to the factory teams that I haven’t gone anywhere and am still working just as hard to pursue my dreams. So, I will finish off the outdoor series and try to land a ride so I can compete in a full season next year!
Do you have anything set up yet for next year?
I currently don’t. I am 100-percent open to any offers right now.
How did Supercross go for you?
I got to do two rounds of the West Coast Supercross – I did San Diego and Anaheim 3. I had some rough luck in them, though, with one being a mudder, and at the other I had a mechanical problem. But I got a ton of experience with Supercross training and am super-excited for it next year!
Are you currently still training with Hughes?
I pop in and do workouts with him when it works. Funds are tight, so I do a lot of it on my own. I follow all the things that he has taught me in the past.
Now that the races are on the East, where are you going to ride and train? Are you staying on the road?
I am staying on the road living in the motor home and am going to team up with Jimmy Decotis since he lives back this way. We are going to train together and we are both also going to hook up with John Dowd, who I met last year when I was back here, and do some sand riding before Southwick.
How do you think your season has gone so far?
Well, my season has only been Washougal so far! That was the first race I have done in months. I had a few crashes and got taken out, so a few mishaps that I need to work on and keep moving forward, but I can’t complain with the results at the end. I had some hard charges and some fast lap times. So, I want to take the few things that went wrong from there and change around my program a little bit so I can be even smarter come this weekend at Unadilla.
Well, good luck for the rest of the season! Anyone you would like to thank?
Thanks! And yeah, I want to thank my parents again – like I said, this wouldn’t be possible without them – along with Josh Bartnik, my mechanic, Pro Circuit, No Fear, Von Zipper, Shoei Helmets, TCX Boots, Escondido Cycle Center, Custom Decals, Dunlop, Maxima Oils, Acerbis, DT1 filter services, MRM-USA.com, QTM, and Kicker.
