Javier Villegas Update

It’s been a more mellow week since last time i wrote, but still packed with fun.
This las days I’ve been riding a lot at Paradise Ranch and learning some new techniques and tricks, which i have no pictures of so wont tell until i have some proof, but is gonna be good i promise. I did some filming for Cliff Talley from ESPN.com while he was interviewing Metzger about his recovery and got to meet with the people of “Forgiven energy”, so that day was pretty awesome. The Next day we went to ride and shoot some pictures and film some footage for Bshipman films documentary, “FMX & the life”,at Reche Canyon to show my super man back flip on the big dirt step up, too bad that day, our friend Alex endo that jump landing on a dislocated wrist and broken tib and fib, now he’s back in Mexico with his family recovering.
The Next day we headed to Payson AZ, for the Moto Madness, a freestyle show with some Arena cross intermission, yeah exactly how you read it.
We had best whip contest, step up, team competition and the final train show. The First day I won in best whip, then won step up going around 27ft and our team took the victory with all our flip combos. The second day i took the victory again on best whip and steep up, but with only 25ft, and our team again defeated the other team, it was a fun weekend and I’m looking forward to repeat it.
Then I took a few days off and got back to practice and improve my old tricks and learn some new stuff, I got to ride with some friends at the paradise, it was good to ride with Greg Schaaf, X games rider Rich Kearns and Nick Dunne, we had an awesome practice session and i got to see my first rattle snake, hopefully my last. Mike Metzger gave me one of his new signature Goggles, and told me, “these are collectors items”, so i will take a lot of care of those.
And the last day I rode, I filmed some more for Cliff in Reche Canyon and I’ll be waiting on him to see the result of the footage on ESPN.com/action. Now that i think about it, it hasn’t been a mellow week at all, it’s been busy and fun.
And last but not least, check out the new video i made, a little bit of everything i’ve done since i came to California, hope you guys like it.
