No Fear Energy Music Tour with LAMB OF GOD Starts April 2April 1st, 2009
To showcase their fifth studio album “Wrath” which was released by Epic Records February 24th, Lamb of God will headline the No Fear Energy Music Tour, which commences April 2 in Phoenix, Arizona. This North American “Wrath” tour covers 35 markets in the US and Canada before crashing and burning to an end on May 15th in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Lamb of God has put together one of the strongest metal shows in recent history. As I Lay Dying and Children of Bodom are the main support acts on the tour, with the opening slot rotating between God Forbid and Municipal Waste. The bill will also feature special appearances by Suicidal Tendencies and DevilDriver on select dates at the start of the Tour.
As I Lay Dying is will release a new DVD “This is Who We Are” on April 14. A preview of the DVD is now online at MetalBlade.com. Children Of Bodom’s latest studio album “Blooddrunk” recently won the “Metal / Hardrock Emma 2008″ award, the Finnish version of our Grammy awards, last Saturday in Helsinki.
Lamb of God drummer, Chris Adler, describes the tour like this: “The package we have lined up is guaranteed to leave sore necks and broken eardrums across the country. If you’re into metal, this is not a tour to miss.”
“No Fear Energy is psyched to be working with Lamb of God, Live Nation and the solid line-up of support bands on this tour,” said No Fear’s Vice President Of Marketing, Britt Galland. “The music fits perfectly into the lifestyles of those who buy No Fear Energy drinks and gravitate towards the action sports properties associated with our brand.”
