Las Vegas, NV (USA) – The Ultimate Fighting Championship® (UFC®) is proud to announce its first-ever event in Nashville, Tennessee. Music City has never seen hard-hitting action like this as many of the rising stars in the sport of mixed martial arts will be featured in a nationally televised event live on Spike TV Wednesday, April 1 at 9:00p.m. ET/PT for UFC® Fight Night™ from the Sommet Center.

Tickets for this event will go on sale Saturday, February 7 at 10 a.m. CT and will be priced at $200, $125, $90, $60, $40 and $20. Tickets are available at the Sommet Center box office, all Ticketmaster locations, and by telephone at 615-770-2040. To charge by phone with a major credit card, call Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. UFC® Fight Club™ members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to this event Thursday, February 5 at 10 a.m. CT via the website ufc.com. A special Internet ticket pre-sale will be available to UFC newsletter subscribers Friday, February 6 starting at 10 a.m. CT. The UFC’s first-ever event in Nashville will be headlined by the contrasting styles of submission specialist Carlos Condit and the top-tier striking of Martin Kampmann. UFC® Fight Night™ will also include The Ultimate Fighter® Season 8 winners Ryan Bader and Efrain Escudero, The Ultimate Fighter Season 5 standout Cole Miller, The Ultimate Fighter Season 8 contestant Junie Browning and light heavyweight contender Carmelo Marrero.

Winner of his last eight MMA bouts, former World Extreme Cagefighting® welterweight champion Carlos Condit (fighting out of Phoenix, AZ) makes his UFC debut on April 1. The 24-year-old is a native of Albuquerque, NM, and has submitted four of the five WEC opponents he has faced, winning all the matches within four rounds. The former WEC 170-pound champ holds impressive submission wins against UFC veterans Brock Larson and John Alessio. No Fear Mixes ASR, MMA and an After Party This WeekendJanuary 22nd, 2009

CARLSBAD, CA — No Fear’s involvement in the booming sport of Mixed Martial Arts will draw attention to its retail apparel business this weekend. On Saturday, January 24, the final day of the Action Sports Retailer Expo at the San Diego Convention Center, World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC®) Welterweight Champion, Carlos Condit will be at the No Fear Booth signing autographs from 11:00 a.m. to noon. Condit has dominated the WEC’s 170 pound weight class with a professional fight record of 21 wins and only four losses.

On Sunday, January 25, the day after the ASR Expo wraps up, WEC® will host their first ever event at the San Diego Sports Arena. The lineup features two furious match-ups: A World Lightweight Championship fight between Jamie Varner and undefeated Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone as the main event, and the much anticipated rematch between No Fear Energy backed Urijah Faber and former UFC® champion Jens Pulver as the co-main event. Tickets are still available online via Ticketmaster or at the San Diego Sports Arena box office.

No Fear Energy to Host a Private Urijah Faber Party After the Fight
To close out a huge weekend of ASR and MMA, No Fear Energy will host a private “Urijah Faber After Party” at the Belo nightclub, located at 919 Fourth Avenue in downtown San Diego. The party is by invitation only, but fight fans can get a chance to be put on the guest list by sending an email to NFENERGYGUEST@NoFear.com The party will feature an open bar from 9:30 to 10:30, and DJ FishFonics of WildFish Entertainment will be spinning the decks and keeping the beat.
